CrossFit Modern – Kids (5-8)
Line kids up. Start with the PVC low and lets kid jump, increasing the height each round. They can jump however they’d like.
Seated box jumps:
This is a new skill. Use the same cues as regular box jumps (use hands for momentum, stand all the way up at top), but add in different techniques for starting from a seated position. Model that they can rock back and into the jumping position for momentum.
Metcon (AMRAP – Rounds and Reps)
All kids will get in a line. If there are too many kids, make two lines. Line benches up so kids can start seated.
